Indexable Fly Cutters

The indexable fly cutter produces smooth, mirror-quality finishes in a single pass. It comes with everything you need except the holder.

• Complete kit: Fly cutter with two sets of SEHT1204 inserts (PCD + CBN), a torx wrench, and mounting screws. Holder sold separately.
• Mirror finish: This indexable fly cutter leaves flat, mirror-quality surfaces that standard end mills can’t match. Ideal for facing and surfacing on any milling machine.
• Two insert sets: PCD for aluminum and non-ferrous metals; CBN for hardened steel and cast iron.
• Easy setup: Balanced for low vibration and longer insert life. Inserts swap in seconds, no special tools.
• Fits: Accepts most standard 1″ shell mill holders with low-profile mounting screws. Often used with machine tapers R8, CAT40, NMTB 30/40, and BT 30/40.
• Choose your size: Available in 5″, 12″, and 14″ cutting diameters. Two flutes, 7075 aerospace aluminum body.
