Get a mirror finish in aluminum and make it last. This SEHT120408 insert uses a PCD (polycrystalline diamond) tip. PCD ranks second in hardness only to natural diamond. It machines aluminum, carbon fiber, composites, brass, and copper.

• Mirror finish, wiper corner: The squared-off wiper corner wipes the surface flat as it cuts, leaving a near-polished finish, ideal for face milling and fly-cutter work.
• Lasts 10–20x longer than carbide: Diamond hardness holds a razor edge over long production runs, cutting tool changes, downtime, and cost-per-part.
• No built-up edge: Low friction and high thermal conductivity stop soft, gummy aluminum from welding to the edge.
